Each COE coffee has a one-of-kind flavor profile with more complex layers and notes than your average cup of joe. We trust you’ll enjoy these award-winning coffees for their unique, high scoring profiles.
Winning at the Cup of Excellence competition is a life-changing achievement that elevates farmers, their families, and entire communities. Farmers can earn up to 100 times more for their coffee than the price of lower-grade beans. Recent auctions saw COE-winning coffees selling from $18.30 to $132 per pound, with Ethiopia setting a new all-time record at $445 per pound, the highest price ever paid at an auction for any country. In contrast, commodity coffee typically sells for less than $2 per pound.
As always, our goal is to bring you the best coffee at an unbeatable price. We're bringing you award-winning coffees at more affordable prices than other roasters. COE coffees often go for $25/pour-over at a coffee shop. We’re bringing them to you for $8-9/cup!
Due to the rarity and value of the coffees in this collection, all Cup of Excellence coffees are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. Please share coffees you don't like with friends so they don't go to waste!
No, Cup of Excellence coffees are only available with its caffeine intact. This ensures the high score flavor profile is not tampered with.
We roast, pack, and ship coffee daily, shipping your coffee 3-5 days after roasting. The sooner you drink your coffee, the fresher and more flavorful it will be! Roasted coffee expires after a year but please note that it will lose its flavor and aroma if you wait to enjoy.
