Ditch the Overpriced Coffee Shop for These Copycat Starbucks Recipes

Whether you work from home and it's no longer convenient, or you're looking to save money, breaking the coffee shop habit is a good thing. Our favorite menu items from places like Starbucks can often hit our wallets hard, not to mention the amount of time we waste driving to the shop and waiting in line.

But what if we told you that you could make copycat recipes of all your faves right at home? That's right! (Plus they're DELICIOUS) Below we've compiled 4 common Starbucks favorites that you can make right in your own kitchen! Enjoy!

 

Copycat Starbucks Iced Mocha

Ingredients: 

  • 4 oz (2 espresso shots) Angelino's espresso
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 3 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla syrup
  • Ice

Directions: 

  1. Combine milk and vanilla syrup and froth with hand mixer. Set aside.
  2. Add your chocolate syrup to a tall glass.
  3. Brew espresso over chocolate. Stir well.
  4. Add milk and ice.
  5. Enjoy!

Bonus: Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup for a dash of extra sweetness.

Makes one serving.

 

Copycat Starbucks Caramel Macchiato

Ingredients: 

  • 2 oz (1 espresso shot) Angelino's espresso
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 tbsp caramel sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp vanilla syrup

Directions: 

  1. Combine milk and vanilla syrup and warm until heated through. Froth if desired. Pour milk mixture into mug. 
  2. Brew espresso separately then pour gently on top.
  3. Finish it off with a crisscross of drizzle caramel sauce. 
  4. Sip and enjoy!

Bonus: Top with a dollop of whipped cream to add some extra creaminess to your macchiato. 

Makes one serving.

 

Copycat Starbucks Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew

Ingredients:

For the Cream

  • 2 tsp vanilla syrup
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • 3/4 cup half and half

For the Iced Coffee

Directions: 

  1. Brew coffee in a large mug and refrigerate for two hours or until chilled.
  2. While coffee is chilling, make the cream by combining vanilla syrup, agave syrup, and half and half. Use a hand frother to whip until you reach a whipped cream-like consistency.
  3. Add ice and coffee to a tall glass.
  4. Pour in cream mixture.
  5. Sip and enjoy!

Bonus: Top with whipped cream for extra creamy sweetness.

Makes one serving.

 

Copycat Starbucks Chocolate Chip Frappuccino

Ingredients: 

  • 8 oz brewed Angelino's Chocolate Mocha coffee
  • 1/2 cup of milk of your choice
  • 3 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 4 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice
  • Blender

Directions: 

  1. Brew coffee and let chill until room temperature or colder.
  2. Pour coffee, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract into blender.
  3. Add ice and pulse until blended well.
  4. Add a straw and enjoy!

Bonus: Top with whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and chocolate chips for an extra kick of flavor.
