The responsibility passed to the third generation in 2004 when Erwin Humberto Argueta Herrera took the helm. He renamed the farm Bella Elizabeth in honor of his daughter, Ana Elízabeth, a gesture that tied the family’s story of past and future together.

Under Erwin’s leadership, the farm gained recognition on the national stage. Despite challenges from the pandemic and coffee rust, the Argueta family remained committed to quality, sustainability, and innovation, participating in the National Coffee Association’s Sustainable Profitability program to ensure the farm thrives even in times of crisis.

Through years of hard work and careful stewardship, the Argueta family has nurtured Bella Elizabeth into more than a farm. It is a legacy of passion, patience, and pride.
