'Tis the Season - For Festive Espresso Recipes, That Is!

What's better than a mug of steaming hot coffee on a cold winter's day? Why, festive and merry espresso recipes, of course! A pinch of holiday cheer here, a sprinkle of winter magic there, and just a dash of seasonal spice - that's how we like to dress up our coffees this time of year!

This particular year is a special one because it's the first time we've been able to include our new espresso capsules, compatible with your Nespresso® Original, into our holiday recipes! Therefore, we would like to (very excitedly!) present to you our selection of seasonally-inspired Festive Espresso Recipes below! Each one carefully crafted to add a little holiday cheer with each sip. Enjoy, coffee friends!

Angelino's Pro Tip: For those who prefer less sugar/carbs/fat, you can substitute any of the milk and syrups below for sugar-free, low-fat, or non-dairy options of your choice!

Winter Peppermint Mocha Latte

Winter Peppermint Mocha Latte

Ingredients:

  • Two 1.4 oz shots of Angelino's Espresso
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp peppermint syrup
  • 1 tsp chocolate syrup

Directions:

  1. Brew both shots of Angelino's Refined Espresso into a large coffee mug.
  2. Combine milk and chocolate syrup into a small saucepan and heat until warmed through, stirring frequently.
  3. Pour milk and chocolate syrup mixture and peppermint syrup into mug with espresso. Stir until just combined.
  4. Sip and enjoy!

Add Extra Festive Magic: Top latte with whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed peppermint candy or candy canes.

 

Merry Caramel Maple Latte

Ingredients:

  • Two 1.4 oz shots of Angelino's Espresso
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp caramel syrup
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp chocolate syrup

Directions:

  1. Brew both shots of Angelino's Refined Espresso into a large coffee mug.
  2. Combine milk and maple syrup into a small saucepan and heat until warmed through, stirring frequently.
  3. Pour milk and maple syrup mixture and caramel syrup into mug with espresso. Stir until just combined.
  4. Sip and enjoy!

Add Extra Festive Magic: Top latte with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel syrup, and a sprinkle of sea salt.

Nutty Hazelnut Macchiato

Ingredients:

  • Two 1.4 oz shots of Angelino's Espresso
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp hazelnut syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup
  • 1 tsp chocolate syrup

Directions:

  1. Brew both shots of Angelino's Refined Espresso into a large coffee mug.
  2. Stir in hazelnut, vanilla, and chocolate syrups.
  3. Froth milk in microwave or by using a hand frother. Pour over coffee and syrup mixture.
  4. Sip and enjoy!
